Game Girl Chapter 1: Gaming

I apologize if you are not into computer or video games.  : )

I love gaming.  As someone who presently just works part time and has yet to publish my book and achieve a career (in other words, I’m still just making my way), it feels really good to play a game where you can lead an army and conquer the world.  I have been a fan of Elder Scrolls for a long time.  I once knew the Morrowind map like the back of my hand.  I sometimes jump back into the realm of Tamriel in Oblivion, and I haven’t visited Skyrim in a long time, but it did impress me when I played the game.  Right now, my PC game is Stronghold Crusader II, which takes a lot of focus and patience.  It’s a blast.  But when I’m not feeling up to a fast paced game, The Sims Medieval is really fun.

I used to have The Sims 2, and I loved the expansion packs.  But let me tell you, that is like having a second life.  I could not keep up.  I can easily play it for five hours straight, so last year I uninstalled it.  The Medieval version doesn’t suck you in like the regular version, and I like the quests and formats a lot better.

I now also have an Ipad 2, since my dad got a newer version and let me have this.  I researched strategy and RPG games so that I wouldn’t download a game that would not be what I thought it was.  I love medieval games, but strategies are my favorite way to play.  RPGs can be fun, but on an Ipad, I think there are less options.  However, the real research will start when I get my next game for the PC.  Stronghold Crusader II is great, but I’m almost done with all the levels.  My next game has to be grand, epic and interesting.

Comment any suggestions!  😀
